Production Positions

Join City Truck Upfitters as an Upfit Yard Technician, supporting our production team while maintaining the care and organization of our shop. This hands-on role involves preparing materials, assisting with truck builds, moving vehicles, and keeping completed trucks customer-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Kit parts for upfitting projects to support efficient production
  • Assist with drilling, cutting metal, and assembling truck body components
  • Perform basic maintenance checks and add fluids as needed
  • Move chassis and completed trucks throughout the shop and yard

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of Upfit Technicians throughout daily production

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming chassis inspections and document any transportation damage or OEM defects
  • Conduct comprehensive final quality inspections on completed commercial vehicle upfits

Supply Chain Positions

Join City Truck Upfitters as a Chassis Procurement Manager and play a vital role in ensuring our production team has the right chassis at the right time. You’ll manage relationships with OEMs and dealerships, source new commercial truck chassis, negotiate pricing, and oversee the procurement process from order placement through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase new commercial truck chassis from OEMs and dealer networks
  • Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, dealers, and strategic partners
  • Negotiate pricing, allocations, and delivery schedules

You’ll oversee warehouse operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate the flow of materials from receiving through production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming truck bodies, equipment, accessories, and materials
  • Verify shipments for accuracy and inspect for shipping damage
  • Organize warehouse inventory and maintain efficient storage locations
  • Stage materials and equipment for upcoming production builds
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts

  • Purchase truck bodies, cranes, service bodies, flatbeds, dump bodies, hydraulics, lighting, accessories, and other commercial truck equipment
  • Build and maintain relationships with key manufacturers and suppliers

In this role, you’ll develop detailed vehicle layouts, select truck bodies and equipment, create production documentation, and work closely with customers, sales, manufacturers, and production to ensure every build is ready for procurement and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design complete commercial vehicle upfit packages based on customer requirements
  • Create detailed vehicle layouts and production drawings using CAD software or other approved design tools
  • Develop complete bills of materials (BOMs) identifying every body, accessory, component, mounting bracket, and installation requirement
  • Specify manufacturers, models, dimensions, and installation locations for all equipment
  • Research compatible products and recommend equipment that meets customer requirements
