We upfit common commercial cargo van platforms used for work applications, including full-size and mid-size vans typically used by trades and fleet operators. Each van build is evaluated based on vehicle configuration, payload capacity, and intended use to ensure the upfit is designed correctly and performs reliably.

Can you build custom cargo van upfits?

Yes. Most cargo van builds are customized. We regularly install shelving systems, drawers, partitions, ladder racks, roof racks, lighting packages, power solutions, flooring, wall liners, and specialty accessories as part of a complete upfit package. Cargo van upfit timelines depend on the scope of the build, but our van installations are consistently completed faster than the industry average. Because we control the upfit process in house, we are able to reduce delays and deliver jobsite-ready vans sooner than most providers.

Do you source the van and the accesories?

We can source the van for your build or work with a customer-supplied vehicle. Many customers choose a turnkey approach where we handle sourcing the van, completing the full upfit, and delivering the finished vehicle.

City Truck Equipment provides cargo van installation and upfitting from our facilities in Kansas City, Missouri; Atlanta, Georgia; Houston, Texas; and St. Louis, Missouri. We manage van builds for customers nationwide.

Do you offer nationwide delivery for completed van builds?

We offer nationwide delivery on completed cargo van builds, installations, and upfits. We also operate as a ship-to upfitter, which means the chassis ships directly from the manufacturer to our facility, we complete the dump bed installation and full build, and then we deliver the finished truck to the end user. This is typically much faster than ship-through, where the manufacturer handles final delivery after upfitting. Manufacturers are excellent at building trucks, but logistics and final delivery often create delays that can add weeks or even months to the timeline. Our process shortens lead times and gives you a jobsite-ready truck faster.
